Chill with Cats

Mara Surleau’s illustrations are both soft and colourful, ephemeral yet profound, with characters whose eyes tell a thousand tales. 

She quickly found herself with a pencil in her hand, and she has never let go! Originally from Gap in the High Alps, she launched her career as a freelance illustrator after 3 years at the Art School in Aix-en-Provence.

She has worked on projects with the Hautes Alpes publishing house, La Maison du Whisky in Paris and has exhibited in a variety of venues.
