The Illustration

The character was intended to be fierce and warlike. The Haka and Maori dances were inspirations for the illustrator in the character’s movement and pose. Once you’ve put the jigsaw together, plunge into the darkness and welcome the animal spirit that accompanies this character. Agile and intimidating, this warrior’s creature is just like her: frightening, fast and with a look that leaves no room for pity.

Noëmie Chevalier

Noëmie Chevalier first studied visual communications, then worked in book publishing, naturally incorporating illustration into her work. Today she combines her drawings with her graphic skills. Her illustrations play with superpositions, ornaments and motifs of all kinds.
